Our Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LLC "Functionsoft", a limited liability company registered in Ukraine (company number 45258227), with its registered office at 23 Dniprovska Naberezhna, Kyiv, 02081, Ukraine ("Functionsoft", "we", "us", or "our") processes personal data in connection with the Data Scraper browser extension, the website at datascraper.cc, and related services (the "Service"). We are the data controller for this processing. If you have any questions, contact us at billing@codebrix.io.
1. Data we process
We process the following categories of data:
- Usage and analytics data: how you interact with the website and the extension, such as features used, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and diagnostic and log data.
- Billing data: when you buy a paid plan, Paddle processes your payment and shares limited billing data with us, such as your billing email, country, plan, subscription status, and transaction identifiers. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers.
- Communications: if you contact us, we process the content of your message and your contact details in order to respond.
Much of your use of the extension happens locally in your browser. However, to provide features such as building lists or exporting to Google Sheets, the content you collect (which may include the contents of the pages you process and the data in your exports) is sent to and processed by our servers to deliver those features. We use this content only to provide the Service to you; we do not sell it, and we keep it only as long as needed to provide the feature.
2. How we use data and our legal bases
We process personal data to: provide and operate the Service (performance of a contract); process payments and prevent fraud (contract and our legitimate interests); maintain, secure, and improve the Service and understand usage (our legitimate interests, and, where required by law, your consent); communicate with you and provide support (contract and legitimate interests); and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting (legal obligation). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the website. Strictly necessary cookies are required to operate the site and keep it secure. We may also use analytics and preference cookies to understand how the Service is used and to remember your settings. You can manage or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; if you disable some cookies, parts of the website may not work as intended.
4. How we share data
We share personal data with: service providers (subprocessors) who process data on our behalf, as listed below; Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for purchases; authorities or third parties where required by law or to protect our rights; and a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We use third-party providers (subprocessors) that process personal data on our behalf, only as necessary to provide, support, and secure the Service. These providers fall into the following categories: payment and billing providers (including our reseller and merchant of record); hosting and infrastructure providers; analytics providers; communication and customer support providers; and security and fraud prevention providers. We require each subprocessor to safeguard personal data and to process it only on our instructions and in line with this Privacy Policy. A current list of our subprocessors is available on request by emailing billing@codebrix.io. Where a subprocessor is located outside Ukraine, the EU, or the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
6. International transfers
Some providers are located outside Ukraine, the EU, or the EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. We retain billing and transaction records for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting laws, and we retain usage and analytics data only as long as necessary. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address incidents promptly.
